Or, for example, in music: a top is what is currently at the peak of popularity, what everyone enjoys, and what is constantly playing on the radio.
A logical question arises: why is there so much discussion around tops? Because we are all a bit lazy — with a top, it’s easier not to waste time searching for something worthwhile.
