In other words, the jackpot is the grand prize that can be won, for example, in a casino, lottery, slot machine, or online game. How does it work? Every time players place bets, a portion of the money is added to the jackpot. If no one wins, the jackpot grows. When someone wins, the jackpot resets or is returned to a minimum level.
Let's imagine:

10% of each bet goes to the jackpot.
Calculation:

No one won — the jackpot increases:
